Deanna
Slonski was raised in the Yukon. She has always appreciated the natural
wonder of the north and grew up drawing, painting, and photographing
nature. It is nature and its beauty that inspires her to paint and what
better subject than the never ending array of plant life. Deanna loves
the wide variety of flowers that bloom every year in the Yukon. She is
happy to capture their splendor on canvas so that she can enjoy the colors
of summer into the lone winter months. I is an honor for her to recreate
these glorious gifts that Mother Nature provides. Deanna has recently
forayed into other subject matters and styles, bringing the same passion
for color and life into her work.
