Born and Raised a Yukoner, I have been inspired by the rich artistic quality of the Yukon wilderness. Unable to find a real artistic outlet to express my interest in a creative media, I found myself intrigued in the production of glass art during a visit to Seattle in 2004. I enrolled in the Firehouse Glass Institute for a 2 month intense course. I returned to the Yukon, set up production in my garage and the creative production began! Since then I have returned to the Firehouse Glass Institute for numerous courses, and continue to be inspired the essence of the Yukon.
